About the Role:

XCT is seeking a dynamic and experienced technical professional to join our growing technical operations team as a Field Engineer. Our clients are some of the largest and most innovative industrial consumers of power, including data centers, cold storage, manufacturing, and telecommunications. This role is crucial to the installation of the energy-saving electrical products we deploy, and you will have the opportunity to work at client locations across several major industries. The Field Engineer will be responsible for managing the contractor installation of energy saving projects regionally, on site at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project or construction management, electrical and industrial appliance installations. XCT is a fully remote organization, with leadership spread across the country. This role is available for immediate start and is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site installations of XCT’s energy-saving technology, overseeing projects from start to finish (typically three weeks) ensuring efficient completion to client specification.
• Partner with electrical contractors to bring XCT’s solutions to life, providing hands-on technical expertise and ensuring installations meet the highest safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Conduct site surveys at major industrial and commercial facilities, assessing electrical infrastructure and developing efficient installation plans.
• Work side-by-side with the Project Manager to strategize installations, optimize workflows, and keep projects running on schedule and on budget.
• Be the technical expert on-site, solving real-world challenges, answering client questions, and ensuring XCT’s technology integrates flawlessly into their operations.
• Validate system performance post-installation, running tests, troubleshooting issues, and transitioning projects to the long-term operations team.
• Document and share insights from the field, helping refine processes, improve deployment strategies, and drive continuous innovation.
• Travel regionally to high-impact client sites, playing a key role in transforming the way major industries manage their energy use.
